BRIO for Access Scaffolding

Temporary stair towers for the access to construction sites, pedestrian movement in public spaces and for evacuation in case of emergency.
Temporary stair towers for the access to construction sites, pedestrian movement in public spaces and for evacuation in case of emergency.

BRIO temporary stair towers are used for access to construction sites, pedestrian movement in public spaces and evacuation in case of emergency. They are ideal structures for various construction sites, including building construction, restoration or the civil engineering sector.

BRIO temporary access systems, based on BRIO ringlock scaffolding offer all the necessary guarantees relating to safety, and are certified to EN 12810- 1/2 and EN 12811-1/2/3.

Access stairs on construction sites

Facilitating safe and convenient vertical access to working platforms or to different points on the worksite.

    • Available configurations:
      • BRIO ALU 70 STAIR TOWER: a simple design, with a reduced number of components and aluminium stringer, which facilitates high assembly performance.
      • BRIO 70 STAIR TOWER: made of steel, ideal for construction sites where load requirements are greater and a more robust stair tower is needed.
      • BRIO 100/200 STAIR TOWER: used to create larger accesses, where there is a high rate of transit of individuals or even for cases where the stair must be prepared for evacuation in case of emergency on site.

Temporary accesses in public spaces

Temporary structures which provide convenient spaces for safe pedestrian transit on public roads. Typical applications include footbridges, public staircases, ramps and platforms.

The system complies with the geometrical and load requirements according to the three European Standards in force: CTE Spanish Regulation (Technical Building Code), French Regulation NF P 93-523 and German Regulation DIN 18065.

Available configurations

Due to the versatility of BRIO components, countless configurations can be achieved by multiple variations in both width and height. More complex access requirements can be solved by combining ramps, stairs, and platforms.

Access stair on the construction site:

    • High assembly performance: quick and easy assembly, with few elements.
    • Guaranteed safety, certified scaffolding.
    • Large accesses. Platform widths: 0.70 m, 1.02 m, 1.5 m and 2 m, depending on requirements.
    • Possibility of different landings.

Temporary accesses in public spaces:

      • Complies with the geometrical and load requirements according to the three European Standards in force: CTE Spanish Regulation (Technical Building Code), French Regulation NF P 93-523 and German Regulation DIN 18065. In addition, the anti-slip design of the steps does not require extra covering, and incorporates a riser that allows the step to be fully closed.
      • Versatile system, suitable for multiple configurations, depending on transit of individuals, access height, geometry and load requirements.
      • High assembly performance and easy assembly.
      • High load-bearing capacity.
